Rick Steves and Bishop Shelly Bryan-Wee

Rick Steves is a prominent travel writer, television personality, and entrepreneur known for his extensive travel experience and advocacy for broadening American perspectives through travel. He's a best-selling guidebook author, most known for his public television series "Rick Steves' Europe," and is a passionate advocate for travel education and cultural exchange.

The Reverend Shelley M. Bryan Wee has served as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since 1993. She is currently serving her second term as Bishop in the Northwest Washington Synod of the ELCA. She delights in working with congregations, ministry sites, Rostered Ministers, and others in this day and time.  She is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma, WA) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Arts (emphasis in Public Relations) and a minor in Business Administration (emphasis in Marketing). She obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary (now Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN).
